Northern Art Prize names the first 'Northern Art Pies' Winner!
The Northern Art Prize and Boutique Catering have collaborated to launch the first 'Northern Art Pies' competion. We are delighted to name Thomas Atcheson and his wonderfully titled 'Coronation Sheep' pie as the clear winner! The shortcrust pastry filled with curried diced lamb, chickpea and mung bean was a clear favourite with judges, and for those of you wanting to taste this weird and wonderful creation, you can find it on our cafe menu for the next 3 months. Other finalists included Christine Dawson's 'Humity Pie', Claire Circuit's 'Cheese and Jam Pie' and Matthew's 'Yorkshire Staples'. Many thanks to all of you who entered.
